Why preview at scale?
A tile that looks balanced on its own can create unwanted stripes, holes or “tracking” lines once it repeats across a metre of fabric. Zooming out to 8–12 repeats across shows the pattern roughly as a customer sees it on a garment or a curtain.
Example
If a heavy motif sits near the same place in every tile, it lines up into a visible diagonal or column at small scale. Move it, add a smaller filler motif, or switch to a half drop and preview again.
